Burning skin on penis head turns the skin white

About 2 weeks ago the skin on my penis head, left side at the edge of the head and foreskin began to burn. I noticed later the skin had taken on white tone. The burning then moved closer to the top on the edge of the head and the skin turned white there too. Today the skin closer to the top started to do the same thing and it’s turning white too. Sometimes the skin is more white than others and there doesn’t seem to be any bumps, just whiteish skin.  This all started the day after protected sex.

Any ideas what I could be?

Yep, sounds like balantis. Continue to keep it like a desert and applying cream.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your input thus far. The doc couldn’t really give a Straight answer on what’s going on and suggested the same as you Joe. I’m trying that now. I’m still on antibiotics for possible prosatitis.

To add to my frustration, the tip of my penis is really sensitive to the touch and looks darker colored than it normally does. Is this something that can go with balatitis?  It seems to get better when I’m wearing boxers.

No chlamydia or gonorrhea, tests came back negative.   I’m waiting for the viral tests now.

Thanks everyone for your input so far.

Antibiotics make yeast infections worse. While you are awaiting your doctors reconendation if you still see white areas, get some jock itch cream or Monistat and apply it daily after a shower and keep the area BONE try. Blow dry the area dry after shower, after urinating paper towel any urine dribble. If it’s balantis which I suffered from it can be tough to cure. Keep us updated

I’m waiting for my follow up, I’m on some antibiotics for about a week now. Still getting some discomfort around the urethra opening now and again too. I’m nervous I may have caught something.
