CAN HERPES BE RULED OUT AT 70 DAYS NEGATIVE

I tested for herpes and syphillis at 70 days with negative result.

Can we rule out both at 70 days or retesting is recommended?

Studies prove herpes cannot be ruled out until after 90 days from contraction. It takes 3 months from the contraction date for herpes to test positive using the standard blood test that checks for antibodies. To be on the safe side, I suggest retesting in a couple of weeks.

I retested at 5 months for HIV ans HSV is that sufficient?
For herpes, yes. For HIV, it is typical to be retested at 6 months after the first test and, again, 9 months after the second.
isnt 6 months window period outdated???
Yes, it is outdated. Depending on the test you had done, you could be conclusive at 4 weeks, or 12 weeks.

They haven't recommended a 6 or 9 month test in years.
