Can I give myself trichomoniasis?

I recently found out I had trichomoniasis.. can I give it to myself from not properly cleaning my toy.. ( I've never shared it nor has it been in my back side) .. or would it have  to have been passed from my partner?

No, you can't give it to yourself, but you can get it nonsexually if an infected person passed it to a wet towel or toilet seat or something like that and you used it soon after.  Most likely it was from your partner, but there are several ways, but if you don't have it, you can't pass it on.

Please note that while it 'can' pass via a towel or other item like that, it's almost exclusively passed sexually.  It can only survive for 45 minutes on something like that and is most likely to pass via sex.   So, your toy.  If only used it, you'd not get trich from your own toy.  You'd have had to have it to have that even be present.  So, that scenario isn't a possibility.  While again, small chance you got it from an item like towel or sheet but most likely from your partner.  When were you diagnosed and how?

Here's an article to read:  https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/trichomoniasis
A week ago and I did a blood and urine test at the dr
What gender are you? What gender is your partner?

How long have you been with your partner?

What made you test? Did you have symptoms? Was it routine?
