Can Urethritis caused by herpes heal with antibiotics?

I met a girl had unprotected sex on 3 occasions which led to what appeared to be Urethritis 2 doctors one online and at the ER stated it looked like an STI from Chlamydia and not HSV.  Did Urinalysis for Bacteria and came back not detected for chlamydia or Gonorrhea. So now I’m nervous and wondering if it’s HSV, but I’ve never had any of the symptoms of breakouts associated with HSV plus after taking the antibiotics the urethritis is subsiding. If it were urethritis brought on by Herpes would antibiotics still heal it or would I still have the urethritis symptoms 3-4 days later?

How bad is your pain? The doctors have answered many questions pertaining to herpetic urethritis on this site, stating that if you had it, it'd be one of the most painful things you've ever experienced. Also, herpetic urethritis rarely occurs without obvious sores/lesions on your genitals.

It’s not likely to be hsv I wouldn’t get tested for it. First see if you can find out if the girl has it if you can put this into perspective transmission rates for hsv2 from female to male for couples who have sex unprotected twice a week is 4%  so it’s highly unlikely you got it from having sex 3 times. If the girl even has it and knows about it she could be taking antivirals and that would reduce the chances by half

Hi
1) if u r worried about hsv, then go get a hsv test
2) no antibiotics does not work for virus. Antivirals are prescribed instead

I just did today just wondering while I waited to go to the lab today. Sometimes your mind just goes down a rabbit hole of questions.
