Meaning Of Test Results - Syphilis

Hi Guys,

I would just like to know what the results for below Syphilis testing are:

28/01/15 - 1st Test
                                                                                                                          MIN    MAX
Treponema Pallidum Antibody IgG               0.3   Index                        Negative              1.2

08/02/15 - 2nd Test
                                                               Result                                Reference Range

RPR                                                        Weak Reactive                     Non-Reactive

10/02/15 - 3rd Test
                                                               Result                                Reference Range
VDRL                                                      Weak Positive                     Non-Reactice
TPHA                                                      Negative                             Negative

As per the doctor. He says that i don't have Syphilis, it might be something else.
He claims I am non contagious as well. I was sexually active in the past using safe sex. But
not for oral. A few condom breaks too.

Your input and suggestions are highly appreciated. I tested for HIV, Hep B and HEP C 8 months back.
I am currently doing another test today for HEP B and HEP C.

No because you would have had a straight positive test as it would be a lot of antibodies to detect it.

Thanks Vhance for the support. Like yourself I have found comfort in Church and the above situation set me back. I now concentrate my time on looking after my home and my wife who is expecting to deliver in June.

I wish you all the best

Cheers
Danny

P.S all my tests for HIV,HEP B and C were negative as expected too

A weak positive...most likely a false positive. No reason to doubt your Dr.
