Chlamydia? Yeast infection? HIV? What could I have?

My last pap test concluded that I have LSIL...which I think means HPV (the non-wart kind)? My first question is, is it possible for this to go away on its own or could it have been made worse?

I'm asking the second part because lately, after having unprotected sex with my boyfriend last month (and continuing to do so since then), I've been experiencing itching, yellowish vaginal discharge, burning during urination, bleeding when I'm not on my period, and lower abdominal pains. All signs point to chlamydia. It also hurts to swallow. If I get treated for this, will it get rid of the infection both in my genital region and my mouth? How long does it take to be completely cured? Also, could this infection have worsened my HPV or bring me that much closer to developing cervical cancer? I'm really scared.

Furthermore, looking at the symptoms of all kinds of other diseases, like HIV, I've been trying not to self-diagnose but I can't help it. I'm really scared that I could have something serious. A couple of months ago, I did have a swollen lymph node, and a blood test detected that it was mononucleosis, but could it have misread HIV for that? I also had strep throat in January, after having multiple sexual partners for awhile; is that a sign of HIV?

I got blood and urine tests done a few days ago but waiting for the results is making me way too anxious and I'd really like to know what a doctor thinks, based on my symptoms.

stop pinching it and picking at this!  follow up on things monday with your provider for better answers to help ease your anxiety about it all.

yes indeed you might not have had obvious warts back in april but if your bf has hpv and didn't know it, he could've recently transmitted it to you too.

*When she said I had no signs of warts, I'm fairly sure she meant I have the cervical cancer strand of HPV, not the warts strand, because cervical cancer is what she kept talking to me about.

Once again I'm freaking out because this morning I found a small pimple-like bump near my vaginal opening and I'm terrified that it could be a genital wart. It's barely there and flesh coloured, but hurts when pinched. I'm really really praying that it's just a pimple that will go away in a few days. When my doctor told me that my LSIL was probably caused by HPV, she said that I have no signs of warts (this was in April), so I didn't think that I had that particular strand of HPV. Is it possible for the warts to just start developing anyway? What do the early signs of genital warts look like?

try to relax. HPV and chlamydia are infections that are not the end of the world. Chlamydia can be treated and cured. There are millions of people living with HPV in this world and living full lives. You are not even positive if you do have it or not. I know that this can be a scary time cause i have gone through it myself. But the best thing to do is be honest with your bf and make sure you are tested. Its best to know your status. I wish the best for you. If you have any anxiety issues shoot me an email. I went through some serious anxiety when I dealt with my situation so if you need to talk shoot me an email.
Best of Luck!

I don't think he has. I'll have to tell/ask him about it, which I'm terrified of doing.

I've made an appointment with a free clinic for next week, and I hope everything turns out okay.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah, I realized yesterday that you had to pay for a doctor's opinion.

I don't think they did testing on my vaginal fluids. I didn't have to do a swab test or anything like that. I want to see a gyn as soon as possible for that, but I'm not sure how soon she'll be available and I've been bleeding for 6 days straight now, which is longer than my normal period, and I've been feeling the same sort of lower abdominal pains as I do when I'm on my period. I want to believe that this is spotting due to missing birth control pills, but I highly doubt it. I just hope I'm able to see a professional as soon as possible.

Also, is there any difference between symptoms of chlamydia and symptoms of gonorrhea? After extensive Googling last night, I'm now terrified I may have the latter, which I've read is worse. Or both.

Thanks so much for your answer.

LSIL means you had begining changes in your cervical cells that may be due to having hpv infections.  Can it go away on its own? It can but you should be getting frequent follow up from your gyn as well as a colposcopy.

when you had blood and urine testing done a few days ago, did they also do any testing on your vaginal fluids too?

you should be avoiding sex at this point until you feel better.

no reason to suspect that you have hiv - it's normal to get sick like this.

this is not the doctor's forum either. If you want a doctor's opinion, you have to pay to post in their forums.
