Chlamydia and IUD

Hello, just a quick question that is stressing me. If I have Chlamydia positive can I still take antibiotics while having a coil ? Can it still be treated ? Or do I have to remove the coil to treat my infection. If I already took the treatment is it dangerous or not?
Thank you I will appreciate an answer Asap I am really worried

You do not need to remove the coil for the antibiotic treatment.

Having an IUD is not a reason to participate in unprotected sex with people of unknown STD status. Please use condoms outside of mutually tested monogamous relationships.
