Desperate

29
Male
160 pounds
Duration of complaint 10 months

Hi I’m completely emotionally and mentally drained at this point and totally desperate for an answer.
I have been experiencing symptoms for 10 months after an unprotected msm sexual encounter .

My symptoms are twinges of urethral pain , aching in the perineal area, pelvic pressure and pain. Also the worst and most debilitating symptom is my burning tongue sensation and TERRIBLE breath. My breath always smells like every day all day like feces. I have never in my life had bad breath, I have great oral hygiene . The smell is comming from my throat and tongue and I also have a Bump on my uvula. I also had a small bump under the head of my penis that was tiny and flesh coloured maybe slightly pink ( colourblind)
I have been tested for everything
Hiv, syphillis, Gonorrhea, chlamydia, ureaplasma, mycoplasma .
I had a DNA testing on sperm and urine Candida came back positive but antifungals didn’t do anything
Now I am on a cocktail of Moxifloxacin and doxycycline feeling terrible and SO exhausted on 3rd week of it doing nothing. It’s to treat potential mycoplasma genitalium.
I’ve been praying to not wake up everyday and I’m totally desperate .
What should I do

Did your test for MG come back positive or are you still waiting on results? How long are you supposed to be taking these meds?

There isn't an STD that would give you bad breath. The burning in your mouth - see if this fits: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/burning-mouth-syndrome/symptoms-causes/syc-20350911 It may not. Have you seen an ear, nose and throat doc for that? A dentist?

Has anyone ever suggested an inflamed prostate as the cause for your symptoms?  https://www.healthline.com/health/prostate-infection#symptoms

Since you are on all these antibiotics, and already tested positive for candida, you should consider taking a probiotic or eat certain foods - https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/what-to-eat-antibiotics

No I had numerous mg test come back negative. But it is very hard to isolate. I’m working with a urologist. I am on doxi and moxi for 6 weeks.
He said I have cells in my prostate fluid that suggest I have or had infection.
I have no idea what’s going on , I don’t know if this could possibly be hpv?
I have to make an appointment with my doctor to refer to ent. This is all just so embarrassing
And my family doctor thinks I’m making it up I can tell.
I’m going to ask the urologist to write my doctor a letter to clarify I’m not making this up.
It's not HPV - that either presents with warts or no symptoms at all.

Do you have white blood cells in your prostate fluid? Have they done any exams or blood tests (PSA) to look for prostate inflammation?

You could have chronic prostatitis, and often, they never find the cause of that.

Your family doctor can't smell your breath? That would seem hard to make up.

Don't be embarrassed. You have to be your own advocate, and you know you have something happening here. Think of your genitals as just any other body part, because really, it is.

I’m starting to really think this is all yeast related. When on antifungals I didn’t think my symptoms were getting better but I realize that my geographic patches went away on them and now that I’m on the doxi and moxi they are back.
Do you recommend a blood test for Candida ?
Just a reminder that my urine and semen sample tested positive for candidia but we thought possibly maybe it was a co infection .
But no mycoplasma test has shown I have mycoplasma .
It is hard to isolate but I feel like it would have shown in my semen or urine since both were DNA tested.
I am not an expert on candida, and it's not an STD.

You might consider taking a good probiotic, though. Talk to your doctor about it.

I'm still not sure why they are treating you for MG. Numerous tests have failed to find it, and the antibiotics don't seem to be helping.
