Disseminated gonococcal infection diagnosis question.

Hi there I am hoping I can get some questions answered as I am having alot of anxiety regarding possibly having a disseminated gonococcal infection.

About December of 2016 I started having a sexual relationship with a couple. All with protection. We carried out meeting each other weekly for about 3 months. It was all hetero encounters. Man with woman

About Feb / March time frame I started developing some joint and muscular pain. I started to worry and read around here. I tested negative for HIV at 6 weeks, Syphilis, Hep ABC and got tested for Gon / Chla also using the urine test.

I have presented none of the usual symptoms or Gon / Chla ( discharge  or pain / burning ) but still have roving joint and muscular pain.

Is the urine test conclusive for ruling out I do not have Gon / Chla?

In order to get an accurate result from an urine sample, this urine needs to be hold in the bladder at least a few hours before taking the sample. If you went to the toilets minutes or a couple of hours before giving the sample, your result may not be accurate.

All the best.
