any diseases that share similar symptoms?

alright, so i had unprotected oral sex with my partner and my symptoms include white itchy bumps and sores on the outer of my vagina. the bumps appeared after five days and my urine also smells unussually acidic. i know that white bumps are common in herpes, just wondering if there are any other diseses with white bumps as a symptom?

If you got an hsv-1 infection, outbreaks are not as severe as hsv-2.    So, it is entirely possible that is what this is.  Sorry, i don't have any more information.  Try posting in the Herpes forum.  Maybe they can give you something more definitive from your description.

alright. thanks. im going for testing this week. just wanted to see if i could get a heads up before i go. he doesnt really have a history no. but i geuss i read that you can also have no symptoms and have it and spread it. the white bumps are all cleared up now after four days and there are just a few sores left. it seems like a really short life span for something to come and go??? i dont know though. honestly i dont know as much as i should about STI's. thanks so much for replying.

I think i read that a really severe yeast infection could cause those symptoms.  But if the sores are from the white bumps breaking, then i'm sorry to say that it sounds like herpes.  But without testing, it's hard to tell for sure.  Does your partner have a history of cold sores?
