Dry humping and frottage- clarification please!

I have read and benefited greatly from the posts and response on this forum. Much of my previous paranoia has since been eleviated based on the responses of the doc.
I have one item for clarification- that being dry humping or frottage, and the other in regards to a small bump/growth on my leg.
1. Dry humping/frottage- I am assuming they are one in the same, but is the assumption with both that genitals do not come into direct contact? Is the transmission of std's more dependent on the degree of friction between the 2 parties?
2. I have noticed a small growth/bump  ( not a pimple)on my leg. It is midway between my knee and my groin, is small, is not red, there is no discharge, but I can see 3 tiny black spots within it. My sexcual encounters have been mutual masturbation and some dry humping ( female on my leg). Otherwise, I feel fine. Do I need to be concerned about warts/herpes etc? Thanks in advance
