Genital warts

Yes I am a 34 year old female I went to a gyn (not my regular one) on Monday for a yeast infection. The gyn then told me she thought she saw a small wart but couldn't confirm it without a biopsy which she didn't really want to do. She said just to keep an eye on it. On Tuesday I saw my regular gyn who did a visual and said she saw nothing and I was fine and not to worry. She took some swaps for the infection but assured me there were no warts down there. However still not being sure I was wart free Ive spent everyday literally digging in my lady parts and doing the vinegar test several times a day. Nothing has ever turned on the vinegar test till yesterday. My skin simply turned white and has stayed white (and yes I've cleaned the area) It is very Sensitive and  irritated down there now. I'm wondering if this is a chemical burn since there are no bumps around that area or somehow warts. I know I have to stop digging down there but for some reason I am finding that impossible to do. Everything down there still looks exactly the same after a week. Please advise I'm very lost and extremely worried.

If you are over 30, probably not worth paying for gardasil out of pocket. There is some research showing it is helpful for preventing oral, head and neck cancers later on but there wasn't enough to make the FDA approve it for over 30 adults.

Thank you so much for your reply to my post. My GYN did verify for a second time today that I do not have genital warts and to stop digging and using vinegar. So I now have peace of mind. You were right in your reply. Thank you so much and God Bless!

I have not gotten the gardasil vaccine as it's not recommend for my age group but my gyn did say I could pay out of pocket for the series so I am going to do that. Thank you so much for your reply. My GYN did reassure me again that I do not have genital warts. I was advised I had a chemical burn and to stop the vinegar and digging as I had nothing to worry about. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post. God bless you! I finally have some peace and will use this as learning experience.

Vinegar is an acid. you should not be pouring it over your genitals several times a day!! You actually did give yourself a chemical burn and did more harm than good :(

So what do you do now? I recommend that you avoid soap for the next few days and just soak your genitals in the tubby. use a barrier cream like aquaphor or desitin on your irritated skin several times a day. No more poking and prodding!! No more vinegar!!

Did you have your 3 shot gardasil series for hpv?
