If you are over 30, probably not worth paying for gardasil out of pocket. There is some research showing it is helpful for preventing oral, head and neck cancers later on but there wasn't enough to make the FDA approve it for over 30 adults.
Thank you so much for your reply to my post. My GYN did verify for a second time today that I do not have genital warts and to stop digging and using vinegar. So I now have peace of mind. You were right in your reply. Thank you so much and God Bless!
I have not gotten the gardasil vaccine as it's not recommend for my age group but my gyn did say I could pay out of pocket for the series so I am going to do that. Thank you so much for your reply. My GYN did reassure me again that I do not have genital warts. I was advised I had a chemical burn and to stop the vinegar and digging as I had nothing to worry about. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post. God bless you! I finally have some peace and will use this as learning experience.
Vinegar is an acid. you should not be pouring it over your genitals several times a day!! You actually did give yourself a chemical burn and did more harm than good :(
So what do you do now? I recommend that you avoid soap for the next few days and just soak your genitals in the tubby. use a barrier cream like aquaphor or desitin on your irritated skin several times a day. No more poking and prodding!! No more vinegar!!
Did you have your 3 shot gardasil series for hpv?

Hi, im sure if the second doctor saw something she would have told you so just put this behind you and do stop digging around.
