Red Patch on penis for over a month. What is it?
Hi so I've recently contracted HSV-2 early this year. It was going fine without much problematic symptoms but since mid-October I have a red patch dat goes midway from my penis head to around the shaft. It's about 1 inch in lenght. I noticed some times it (espeically in d morning) it gets like a white film over it. Also it smells a tad bit horrible.
I've gotten it before since I contracted HSV but it usually would go away after a few days. Why is it staying so long?
I'm trying acyclovir but so far no noticeable difference. I'm doing 800mg 3 times a day since yesterday.

Sounds like balantis. Try some jock itch cream on it and keep it really dry and clean
