He fingered me with a cut on his finger..

I'm a virgin and it's my first time i've ever done anything sexual, so i'm freaking out a bit.
Yesterday my new boyfriend fingered me (just the clit.. he didn't go inside or anything.. maybe he tried but i wouldn’t let him)
I realized he had a cut on his finger (not too big, and it was from the day or at least from the morning)
Could i get an STD from that? He says he doesn't have a STD, but he hasn't got tested. He also hasn't had sex in a year and a half(and he's only done it with 3 girls and he says he's been careful), and he seems just fine.
