How does a woman get “trick” if no one cheated in the relationship

I just tested positive for “trick” and my husband of 6 years is going to the doctor this week. What happens if he tests negative for it ? How did I get it ? I have been faithful to my husband since day one.

Trich can be passed through wet bedding, wet towels (such as that of a pool, friend's house), and even shared menstrual hygiene or masturbatory devices. There was a study conducted in a region of Africa that showed young prepubescent children (girls primarily but boys too) were contracting it from filthy water and from shared, undried towels utilized in the home.
