I have a different question about Trichomoniasis

I have ED and haven't had an erection in years, but my partner and i do masturbation and play with toys. recently she was exposed to Trichomoniasis and went to be tested. They gave her the antibiotics to treat it. Before we found out she had been exposed we were playing around and i had my fingers inside her vagina playing with her and then i went to masturbating myself. could i have gotten Trichomoniasis from this type of contact?

Hands do not transmit STDs, even if fluids are involved. There's too much exposure to air involved, too much movement, etc.

The toys - that's a theoretical risk, and depends on how you use them. If they were inside her, and then immediately went inside you somehow, then it's possible. It's a bit of a stretch, but it's possible.

It's harder to detect trich in men then women, so if it's concerning to you, perhaps your doctor would just treat you for it. Did your partner test as well as get treated?
