I need advice

I've been with my partner for 10 years, recently I was in hospital to see the gynecologist for lower abdomen pains, she took some swabs and the results came back positive to Chlamydia. My fiancee says he has not cheated on me. How long can an sti go undetected?? I have looked online and many forums say 2 years is the maximum time a person can go undetected.

false positive happen not due to human error but do to test error, it happens, not often but it happens. if he is not concerned to get tested then that says a lot.

I have been put on a course of antibiotics to treat the infection. If it was a doctor's test, I may agree but I can't see the hospital gynecologist been wrong. I have asked him to also get tested but its like his not bothered about it. His made no effort to go and get tested.

Yes 2 years, no way you would have this 10 years and not know it. But it could have been a false positive.
