Is there any chance I could have chlamydia?

Last October, I had drunk sex with my ex twice in one weekend, but I’m almost positive I used a condom both times. I got tested for chlamydia & Gonorrhea 12 days after I was potentially exposed. The tests came back negative. Would this testing almost be 100% accurate? I’ve been reading things online recently that 12 days isn’t enough time for accurate test results.

Sorry, I was thinking of the incubation period. Testing window is much sooner, as auntijessi says.

It's not 21 days for chlamydia (or gonorrhea) - it's 5 days usually.

Was it a urine or swab test? If it was, your 12 day test was conclusive, and you don't have either.

It was a urine test. Does that make a difference? Thank you for your feedback!
No, just so long as it was urine or swab, it's conclusive at 12 days.

If it was blood, it's not that reliable.

You're all good. :)
Great, thank you so much for your help!

I have heard it's more like 21 days (for chlamydia). Check with your doctor or a website like the Centers for Disease Control, the information should be readily available.
