Is this an Std symptom?

Hi, I've had unprotected sex with one person I was dating only him and was under the impression he was also only dating me, we have since broken up because he is seeing someone else and I don't know how long she's been around for. I have had a cold (before we had the unprotected sex) and took antibiotics called amoxil and my vagina got very itchy and sore and I stopped taking them didn't finish the course and my vagina felt better after a while but then the cold came back so I took some again and now it's itchy and sore again so I am hoping it's just thrush from the antibiotics but I am not sure. It is very itchy and red and sore and some skin is dry and cracked and sometimes have white discharge but it doesn't have any odor. To me it seems like just thrush but I don't know I don't understand a lot about stds and their symptoms so do you think it could be something else or just that? Thank you

Thrush does seem the most likely explanation. As you have had unprotected sex though, I think you should test for the usual suspects for your safety and that of future partners. Hence look for gon/chlam/trich at two weeks, then HIV, Hep A/B/C, HSV 1/2 and syphilis at 12 weeks to minimise the number of times you present yourself for testing and observing windows.
