Is this herpes or another STD, or am I freaking out too much. Thanks!

About 5-6 days ago I had sex with someone who likely has had many partners. I wore a trojan extended pleasure condom, I asked her if she had an std she said no (yes I know she could have lied or been unaware of having one), and lastly from my perspective (which is not a doctors perspective obviously) I did not see anything in her vaginal region that alarmed me as to her having some kind of infection. During our sexual encounter we had vaginal sex and she also put her mouth on my scrotum. In the following days in my groin area, inner upper thighs, scrotum and penis (places covered and uncovered by the condom) became SLIGHTLY itchy. Not itchy to the point of oh my gosh I have to scratch but just that it was slightly present. I'm not sure if I really have a TRUE itchy area as symptoms have been described or I'm just freaking out and it's all in my head.  My scrotum at times is red as well. A fews days before this sexually encounter a started using a new bodywash so this may have an affect on it, and about a week or so before that I trimmed myself down there, but not down to the skin. I have not noticed any blisters or anything... yet. I am greatly regretting this encounter because I know she has had countless partners. I will be getting a test done in a week, but for right now any thoughts on what the issue probably is. I know from research I see that most people receive mild to no symptoms from herpes and a lot of people have herpes so that scares me. But why would a spot covered by the condom itch? Also I went about a year ago to get my penis examined because I thought I had herpes and the doctor said no, that the two small bumps on the head of my penis (that were there for a while) was a reaction to the condom and not herpes. But knowing all I have shared can I have an honest belief as to what I may have? Is it herpes, an STD, something else, all in my mind? Giving percentages if possible. Thanks!

Ok so here is an update. A couple days ago I started using Lotrimin on my inner upper thighs, scrotum and penis. It has reduced the itchiness a lot except once after using the shower (I guess from the area being dried out and the Lotrimin being washed off). The redness on my scrotum has gone down too. However, I did notice a small bump on my inner thigh not even with my scrotum but below it (so a little lower on my thigh), not sure if it's an ingrown hair or a herpes bump. Everything I've read says that herpes shows up in a group of bumps, so its prob not herpes right? I also read if this redness and itching was from herpes it would not have gotten better from using Lotrimin like it has, symptoms of herpes could only be lessened from prescriptions, is that correct? I will be getting an STD check on Monday. What do you all think??? Thanks!

Ok thanks. What do you think it is then? Jock itch, new bodywash?

Last night I noticed that the skin that connects my scrotum and inner upper thigh has gotten a little red and skin is peeling a bit. Started using my old bodywash after seeing that. Is this an early sign of herpes? I read rashes can appear instead of blisters. But I would think that it would be VERY unlikely that red rashy areas would appear on both inner upper thighs. I would think it would be just one side if it was herpes. I just think its a longshot for herpes to be symmetrical like that... but I could be wrong. Still worried. Could this be from the new bodywash I was using and just drying myself too rough with the towel or do you think this is possibly herpes?

You can post in the herpes group about the tingling and itching.

Hi , yes your just having an anxiety attact as none of what you mention are consistant with any std including herpes. Blisters are a symptom of herpes not itching.

Ok thanks!! maybe I read it wrong about tingling and itching being a symptom.
Now I have dead some dead skin pealing off the inside lower parts of my scrotum (on both sides) especially when I lightly scratch. Could this be from the new bodywash I started a week and a half ago or is this a herpes sign??
