Lap dance, risk of contracting something?
I went to a strip club for the first time lastnight with my friend and she bought me a lapdance, although I didn't want it at all. I'm a very worry prone person and went in saying I don't want anyone in there to touch me and I'll be fine.
So, the little young stripper did her acrobatic moves while giving me a dance. Nothing of her body really touched me except for I was wearing shorts, so all of my legs were mostly bare and she was using them as her support for her back to lay on while she did upside down moves to have her southern regions get up closer to my face..ugh..oh and none of that touched my face or anything, i made sure of that. I'm just wondering, if say she had anything anywhere and she was rubbing all over my legs, would I have contracted something? My shorts were a little big on me and I'm sure spreading my legs for her to stand in between them and what not, exposed my inner most thigh...ahh nerves.

totally just text the stripper i got the lap dance from...yes, i got her number to hang out haha. BEFORE i got the lap dance that is.
i asked her if theres anything i should know about and she said shes all clear and fine and i shouldn't worry...but really, why would she tell me if she did right?

I'm hoping it was from the weird material a dress I wore was made out of...it was sorta like a towel material and I noticed a small inch sized rash the day I was wearing the dress...then I went to sleep with the dress on lastnight, this morning I woke up with the rash spread even more all over my inner thigh.
I've read that you can infact get herpes on your leg and the inner thigh is a common place to get it. I'm so angry, hurt, and upset. That dancer wasn't even on me for a whole minute...slippng up and down between my legs seemingly nice and smooth.
I want to take an IGM test ...since that is the test for recent exposure is it not? But I dont think it's known to be very reliable. :/ so Idk what use it would be. I am torn apart for my health and the sake of my boyfriend's health. I think I've ruined everything from a 30 second lap dance that I didn't even want but the damn stripper DID NOT LISTEN.

well could someone list all the skin to skin contact stds, sti's that can be caught please?
just the skin to skin contact of foreplay can transmit some std's but the risk of that occurring is very low. The skin on the legs is thick and less vulnerable to infection with std's, including herpes.
also believe it or not, not all exotic dancers are infected with std's! Even though a thong/g string doesn't cover much, most of them are not coming in contact with their clients genital areas at reputable places for them to be picking up infections from clients. The purpose of a lap dance is to tease the hell out of you, it's safe and not a reason to worry.

everyone here keeps on saying std's can only be caught through having sex which is not true. If you do some research std's can be caught from skin to skin contact.
You need to move on because there wasn't a risk, when initially said, "No risk for all stds"

There was no agressive rubbing really, her skin seemed really soft and clean. But no actual grinding or anything. Just kept basically sitting on me and turning upside down with her back on my legs. The entire club has to be unsanitary. ..and I after leaving the club too...frequently using the restroom...worried I may have touched some part down there ..but dont remember doing so.. didn't touch anyone really, just the seats and the tables. Risky?

You had zero risk for all STDs from the lap dance. STD means that its a disease you get through having sex.
If you are having sex with anyone and don't know their status then your attention should be there when it comes to matters of STDs
