Licked in Anus

Hello,

I was licked by a female massage worker in my anus for 1-2 minutes. I also had condom protected intercourse with her. What are my risks for STD's? I did not provide any oral sex on her. Should I get tested?

Thank you in advance for the response.

The risks here are really pretty low. You could get anal gonorrhea, chlamydia, genital herpes type 1 (if you don't already have it orally - think cold sores), or syphilis.

If she didn't have any oral sores, I wouldn't worry too much about herpes or syphilis (and syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries), and because gonorrhea and chlamydia reside in the throat, and nothing on your body was actually exposed to the throat, like it would be if she performed oral sex on your penis, the chances are lower.

Most experts don't recommend testing after one incident of oral sex, and this is lower risk than that, so I don't think you need to test.

Thank you very much for your detailed response. I already have HSV1 orally. She did not have any noticeable sores. I realize that is far from an exact science.
Most of it is pretty exact. If you're worried, though, just test. Make sure they do anal swabs, though - you have to request them or they won't do them.
