Lingering symptoms with negative testing

About 6 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a girl I just met. About a week after I noticed inflammation around the meatus and a slight clear discharge. I went to the free clinic to get tested and they gave me a z pack because of the discharge. Tests came back negative. I spoke to the girl and she was tested and she said she was positive for chlamydia. Confused, I got retested for it among other things such as trich. Tests came back negative again. I still have the discharge and there is still slight irritation of meatus, however after ejaculation it gets red around the pee hole and uncomfortable. There is no pain or burning during urination. Waiting on appointment with a urologist but in the meantime can anyone relate to what's happening? My GP says she doesn't know what's going on with me

Thanks for the quick response, however I'm less worried about it being an std(although I'm pretty sure this is happening from sleeping with the chlamydia girl) and I'm more concerned on what it actually is. What's bothering me is that I don't know what's going on, considering I was treated. Only symptoms are clear discharge and red irritation more specifically after ejaculation.

of course you will have a clear discharge and red irritation after ejaculation thats normal.
The discharge is always. The irritation comes after ejaculation but it's not normal and the meatus looks like lips.
have a follow up with your doctor as not much more i can add to this. your need some more testing to get to the bottom of this

Hi, symptoms of a penis infection from std would be a white puss discharge that would appear about 6 days later however a clear may appear at the onset as the body is trying to sooth an irritated area. The most common symptom of chlamiydia in men is itching inside the urethra not at the head.
