Misdiagnosed Epididymitis or ..???Please Help.

HI,
First off let me say this Forum and the doctors that serve the community are a Godsent.  I thank all of u.

About 6 weeks ago,  I received Unprotected oral to completion from a stripper.  I was struck with panic as soon as I finished.  About two days after i began to feel a dull ache on the bottom/behind the right testicle, as well as begining to notice swelling of the left.. No Discharge, No Burning.....  4 days after contact (oral) i was so nervous i went to my doctor and took a STD blood test, just blood.  He said it appeared slightly swollen and told me if I'm worried to follow up with a Uroligist,So i did.

The urologist saw me exactly seven days after "Contact".  Took an in house urine sample (did not send it out) and also performed an examination.  Told me the urine was clean of infection and that he felt slight swelling on both Testicles.  Told me I had a slight case of epididymitis and gave me Levaquin 750mg followed by 500mg to take for two weeks.  I began the levaquin and with in 3 days had to stop due to Bad side effects, to which the doctor recommended I take 40 days worth of Doxycycline.

After 20 days of doxycycline i still saw slight swelling, so I decided to go for a second opinion.  The second Doctor examined me for seriously  10 secs, and said he doesnt see anything and for me to stop the antibiotics. SO i did.
Now three days later the slight swelling is there, Plus i see during sex when i ejaculate the right testicle seems to twitch and pull while the left one (swollen one) just stays looking swollen.  Also last time i Had sex i felt pain in the area between my Testicles and Rectum (Taint).

Please help.
WHich doctor do I believe?
SHould i go for a 3rd Opinion?
Is this all Guilt manifesting?

Please anyone Doctor or Member a response would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hey Vance,

Thank you for your reply.  The second doctor only examined me for 10 secs.  The first doctor is expecting me to visit him next week, but i've stopped the antibiotics he assigned me.

Thank u for clarifying the forum for  me

Also Dr's do not post in this community, just some people who either have training in the field or have gained knowledge from others. The Dr's have a specific "Expert" form where posting is limited and does cost $.

Tough situation...well the blood test would not show anything, the urine test should give better results. Now the Dr who took the urine did u follow up with him and he examed you for 20 seconds? If not then I would go back to him.

Yes it could be guilt that is causing anxiety and pain where there is no real pain. I had guilt about something and could sware I had pain in my testicles...but after seeing a Dr and advice on here, pain vanished.
