NGU other causes than Chlamydia or Gonorrhea?

About three weeks ago I received unprotected oral sex with a CSW. This session lasted about 10 minutes with a great deal of deep throating. About 7 days after the exposure I started to experience burning urination. The next morning there was a yellowish white scant amount of discharge after a gentle milking. I attended my  GP and provided a urine sample. It was tested on site and was negative for STIs. She has requested a sample of the discharge which was not available after urination so she performed a urethral swab. She also provided me with a swab to take a sample myself when discharge was present. She did not provide treatment as she was not sure what to treat for. The next morning I swabbed the morning discharge and dropped it to the lab. My GP followed up two days later and stated there was nothing STI related that came back from the swabs (stated there was a culture of influenza present?) . She had asked is the condition with the same and it actually had become worst in that more frequent presence of discharge and increase pain with urination. She prescribed 100mg of doxycylin x 7 days.
Today I have the last pill of my cycle and there is still a slight discharge after milking although it is now clear rather than cloudy and the burning sensation is still there ever so slightly. I attended my GP again as I am concerned that the antibiotic that was applied may not have cleared the infection. I was asked to provide another urine sample and it was again negative for Gon/Chlam. She advised that this should clear the symptoms after the dosage is complete and to leave it and see what happens.

After doing A LOT of reading I am satisfied that after all the tests, especially 2 swabs this is not Gon/Chlam.. The finding of influenza was odd and my GP suggested the CSW could have had a cold or flu bug at these tend to sit in the throat? After some discussion she felt it was NGU but a bacteria other than chlam. that they don't test for. Should the doxycylin kill all NGU bugs? I have not had sex with my partner but I am guessing it would be best to wait until all symptoms are gone even though it is not a text book STI?
Any thoughts or information would be much appreciated.

You can get those over the counter UTI test strips at Walmart or cvs and test your urine yourself. They are the same thing the doctor uses and tests for WBC in urine. You could get some and see if you have a current UTI and seek treatment based off that information

I had Ngu after the same exposure you had, tested negative for all stds with a urine sample and later a blood sample.(had WBC in urine could not grow anything in culture) My symptoms came about 8 hours after exposure where Ive read cylmidia and Gon are more delayed. I had a drip which was immediately cleared with a shot in the butt and a 1 gram dose of azithromycin. 6 days later drips gone burning persisted and I had a frequency to urine. I then took cipro for 10 days 500 mg, but the UTI moved to my prostate with red blood cells in my urine and symptoms of pain when defacating and cottage cheese like sperm. . I then took leviquin 750 mg for 7 days and it cleared the uti/prostatis. From all the antibiotics I got balantis from yeast. Just now getting over that. These can be a bugger to treat and if you still have symptoms I'd seek another opinion as your doctor seems reluctant to treat. Different antibiotics kill different bacteria. The first day you should have been given a shot and azithro right away. Are your urine samples coming back with white blood cells?

Thanks for all of that information. After two repeat trips and another Dr. she prescribed Ceftriaxone 250 mg IM once plus azithromycin 1 g PO once and it cleared it right up. Still no white blood cell indicators from urine or swab but I suspected it had something to do with chlamydia.
