Negative chlamydia test..

So I received the results and they were negative for chlamydia/gonorrhea. I was given an antibiotic 48 hours ago and it got rid of all my symptoms. My question is, what does this mean for me? How can it get rid of symptoms but not be either of these?  My symptoms were discharge from penis and burning sensation when urinating.

Hi 2 days is really not enough time to ease symptoms so if you tested negative you mostly likely did not have them. Just to be clear that symptoms of gono are big time white puss penis discharge and terrible burning while urinating. Chlamydia symptoms are a bit milder with a white/gray puss discharge, burning while urinating and the most noticible symptlm is itching in the middle of your urethra. did you have these symptoms?

Yes I had those symptoms... they are still there a tiny bit. It's at a point where it doesn't bother me. Discharge is kind of like the color of semen. (No I haven't masturbated)
That's weird cause the middle of my urethra also felt itchy now that I think about it.. What else could it be since chlamydia/gonorrhea tests were negative
With the urethra itching you dont think about it,  its very obvious and is the first symptom. Clear liquid is not an infection discharge as is natural mucus. Could be a simple UTI. So your saying you had a big time white puss discharge?
That's how  my doctor described the discharge. He did not think it was a UTI.
I asked about the discharge during that appointment and his initial words were "classic case of chlamydia" so now I'm just confused
Well just put this behind you as you were treated and under a doc care.
