Paper cuts on thigh... could it be herpes?

Okay, so I've always had issues with my vagina. Itching, burning, and bumps and even yeast infections. It was really intense to the point were I took hot showers multiple times through the day, because it seemed the hot water and steam was the only thing to ease it for a while. But that was solved with birth control, I just need hormones to help balance me out. I still experience the itching, burning, and bumps and the occasional yeast infection, but my birth control helps with that a lot. I plan on getting a higher dosage of my birth control to see if it'll help some more.

I recently had sex with a guy and he complained of having itchy genitals and little paper cut like cuts on high thigh and it complaining of itchy. I honestly wasn't worried about any STDs, because I had the same issue before and after I had sex with him, and I'm pretty sure the only fix for me new birth control. However, he has me really worried I could've somehow given him herpes? Especially after he said "paper cut like cuts" because I also have those, but then again I've always had those and what fixed that issue was the hormones in my birth control...

I told him he could have a yeast infection or something of that nature and he should buy a cream to put on it, but he said he didn't want to.

I'm really nervous... I honestly wasn't worried about possibly having an STD. I'm getting tested today when I visit my GYN, but I know it'll be awhile before I hear any results back and it'll ease my mind hearing other's opinions.

Hi, paper cuts on the thigh would be the wrong location for a first time outbreak as would appear at point of contact like his penis shaft area and gential itching with no cuts appearing in that area would not be herpes related.
