Penis tip pain and HSV or prostatitis.

I have been experiencing penis tip pain for over a year now, I never had any visible sores on my penis or testicles. I went to doctor he tested me for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea which came back negative 1 year and 6 months ago when I first started having this issue.
But my Doctor thinks that it is chronic Prostatitis which I am suffering.
I have this going on for 1.5 year now and every week I may have pain for a day or 2 and then it is completely fine. I also have painful erecting sometimes.

Just for my peace of my mind after looking online on the internet. I got tested for HSV on personal request.
My HSV 1 Igg CLIA came negative and also the HSV 2 Igg CLIA was negative, but the HSV1&2 Igm CLIA came back positive.. How come it is possible IGG is negative and IGM is positive as I am not sexually active since 1.5 year
