Hsv-2 testing

Is 5 weeks long enough for igg test to be accurate? (1.00) equivocal results should I consider re-testing at a later date?

I just got tested again 9 months after encounter this time my hvs2 was negative! So my test at four weeks where I was equivocal was either affected by my positive hsv1 or there is some protein in my blood that is similar to the antibodies for hvs-2 just wanted to share and update there are so many stories with no ending here

5 weeks test results are 60-65% consistent with 12 week results

8 weeks is a good indicator but this is since your last exposure. if you have not had any sexual activity or rubbing kissing in the last 6 months your next test is almost certainly negative.
