Need info on possible syphilis outbreak

Hello community Im asking a question for myself, an encounter I had on february 25 2019, so last monday. I had protected anal with a transexual and unprotected oral but i wasn't able to go fully inside of her so we just finished with oral. exactly a week after that encounter, march 4, 2019, i noticed a dry patch at the base of my penis but i didn't look at it until wednesday and when i looked it at it then it looked like a red spot. it did not hurt so i chalked it up to dry skin i guess. but i looked at it this morning now it looks really ugly like i can't describe it. so now I'm freaking out that it might be syphilis because it doesn't hurt and I'm unable to get a hold of my primary care provider because he is usually able to talk me down but now I'm freaking out because what if it is syphilis. would it be too soon for the syphilis sore to show up? 7 days after exposure? and would it start out as just a dry patch? please help!

So a bit of an update. I tried to contact my doctor and the nurse told me he retired, so I wasn't able to speak with him. I tried an app that my insurance recommended me till i could find a new doctor. I video chatted with a doctor and he told me it didn't look like a syphilis sore at all and he prescribed me a ointment that is used for seborrhea and the spot had almost went away immediately. So I'm just gonna assume that it wasn't what I thought it was. But I do have a question as to why it would show up almost a week after this encounter? Could anyone shed light on this? And also one more question, sorry I'm being a worry wart! How effective is saran wrap from protecting from stds during oral? Any info would be great. Thanks everyone!

It could be total coincidence that the spot appeared when it did. If it responded to the cream the doctor prescribed, then it's probably what he said.

Saran wrap can offer some protection, but it's not tested for it. It can also tear, shift, etc. Use a flavored condom or dental dams, which are tested and designed for this. You should be able to find them online. (I don't know what country you're in or I'd suggest some sites for you.) Your local STD clinic may have some, too. If they don't have dental dams, you can get flavored condoms, cut them open, and use those if you are performing oral on a vagina.

A syphilis sore would last for at least 3 weeks. It doesn't sound like that's what you have if it is going away so soon.

So it looks like it’s going away well but I’m still worried that it might be syphilis

Stop worrying, and test, 30 days from now, it is a bacteria that can be easily treated! And if indeed it is syphilis you caught it early before being able to do real damage

Dermatologic symptoms of syphilis are usually presented as a chancre.
It is unlikely that ur dry skin is due to syphilis.
The incubation period of syphilis ranges from about one week to 3 weeks. Ie. When the first symptom appears.
It varies for everyone.
But my opinion is that the symptoms u r experiencing is too early to be caused by syphilis.

It is about 11-12 days from the encounter. And it doesn’t look red an open wound or chancre but it does look red after I shower and it kind of drys up as the day goes on.
it might be chlamydia or ghonnerea
