STD Testing Question

This is going to sound like a pretty stupid question, but I've been very uneducated regarding my sexual health and I just need to be sure I understand something...

Background:

I'm 26 years old. I started having sex when I was 17 years old. To date I've only had sex with 6 women, 5 of whom I went to high school with. For the last 3 years I've been having sex with the same woman, until I cheated with a CSW in April. This year I took my first set of STD tests.

My Question:

Would my negative results from the STD panels I've taken this year only be accurate for my most recent exposure, or would they be accurate/reliable for my sexual history for the last 9 years?

Thank you Vance. I assumed that was the case, but like I said... I had NEVER tested. It's funny cause in school and growing up all people tell you to worry about is getting someone pregnant. Knowing what I do now about things like STD's and HIV... Getting pregnant seems like a blessing.
