STD symptom, pls help....

Hi
five weeks ago I had a protected sex with a sex worker for half an hour. I had also some fingering by her for a while, unprotected unfortunately. I had a sore in my anus when fingering.

Actually, after ten days, I saw lots of red spots on my arms and small upper part of my back, tiny red spots with itch/burning. Also I had sore throat, swollen lymph nodes and nausea and diarrhea last about 3-4 days.

The red spots are going to disappear, but there are several rashes (like insect bites) developing in my thighs, *** and back. The sore throat back after 2 weeks again with swollen lymph nodes. I had no fever at all during these five weeks.

However, last week (after four weeks) I performed HIV test and it was negative and my doctor told me that I should not worry about HIV.

My question is that are these symptoms can be related to any other STD's?

The strange thing for me is going and back of my sore throat (+ swollen lymph nodes) after 2 weeks, disappearing itchy red spots and coming non-itchy red rashes.

Can these symptom be related to other STD's like syphilis, ...? I really appreciate your help.

Hi and welcome. Your symptoms are not std related. The rash may be from the stress worrying if  you contracted something. If you got tested for HIV that means your really stressed out. From what you describe was really low risk for contracting anything. Do you have a regular partner?

Thanks for the message. I can understand what you mean. I will do the test in the right time. But what I afraid is that could I continue having sex with my partner or not??

Yes only double checking. If you were single no testing would be advised buy only if you had symptoms as the condom was added protection even for the above mentioned.
Those 3 would be the top 3 you would have been exposed to. Testing post exposure times below:
Syphilis----6 weeks
herpes------3 months
hpv----there is not commercial test available for this but only a doctor examine is you develop a wart in the genital area.
Like is said this is just double checking ok?

Thanks for the reply. Then having a regular partner means double checking.

What I didn't understand is that having these symptoms (which might belong to my anxiety) should I do test for other STD's or do I have any risk of other STD's infection from my recent activity?

If yes, that would be good if you tell me what should I do?

Like i mentioned this was low risk acitvity and most experts recommend you test if you have a regular partner back home, this is for their protection as low risk doesnot mean no risk. Even with condom use there are risks for syphilis, herpes and hpv.
