Mycoplasma genitalium - time before symptoms disappear after treatment

I started to have penile discharge so I went to get a test for possible STDs. I tested positive for Mycoplasma Genitalium. The test was negative for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trich, Ureaplasma. I received zithromax (azithromycin) for 5 days. (500 mg the first day and 250 mg day 2-5). The symptoms have improved, for example I no longer have the morning discharge that I had before and the stains in my underwear have almost disappeared. It is now 5 days since I took the last dose of zithromax. I still have some mucus strings and mucus debris in my urine. I did not have this before the STD so I know it is not normal for me. Before I took zithromax the mucus strings in my urine were more noticeable. I have not had sex during this time so there is no risk for reinfection.

Should I be worried that zithromax will not work because of the mucus in my urine?

mucuous strings are usually still a sign of infection. I would retest earlier than the recommended 1 month-maybe two weeks just Incase you are still positive l. That way they can move forwards with more treatment
