Sexually active...swollen tonsil...HIV research...freaking out.

Nearly 3 weeks ago, I had sex with someone I barely knew, and we both ended up kissing sloppily. I used protection when it came to vaginal sex, but I took the condom off and began ejaculating in her mouth. This led to her sucking the tip of my penis and me pushing it in her cheek. About 3-4 days later, I thought I had a sore throat. But I later found out my left tonsil was swollen, due to the fact a part of the left side of my neck began to hurt and my difficulty to swallow because of the painful sensation. About 2 to 3 days later, my doctor prescribed me some antibiotics that lasted a week; this was the same day I noticed the pain was nearly gone. Although I finished my dosage and things seem to be back to normal, I still need to do blood work. I've been doing tons of research in relations to swollen tonsils and HIV, and it kind of worries me a bit (more like ALOT). What could this mean?

you had protected sex which is very effective at preventing hiv infection. This is not a valid concern from this encounter. The brief oral to genital contact was not a real risk for any std.
Even though it's summer, there are still a ton of viruses going around that we typically see in winter time. No reason to think that your symptoms you had were anything other than viral.
