Sore at the base of penis

I noticed yesterday that I had a red sore like thing at the base of my penis. The sore was somewhat more or less on the area between the penis and the scrotum. The area around it looked glossy and when I squeezed it some clear liquid came out as well as blood. It is no longer a bump. However, it does hurt when I still squeeze it. Could this just be an ingrown hair? There is only one bump and I have not had sex with any new partners.

Also, it is located where other pubic hair is. What causes the area to look oily and shiney? The spot is no longer a bump. Just a somewhat sore spot now. It is only sore when it is squeezed.

This isn't a cluster. It's only one sore.

Hi, sounds like an inflamed hair follicle. If youve had a active sexual past and you get a cluster of new ones you might consider swab testing.

Could this be genital herpes?
