Spyhilis question

I had unprotected oral and protected vaginal with an escort on november 3rd. I then had unprotected vaginal sex with my partner on november 11th. On november 19th she showed me a hard round sore like thing the lip of her vagina. Could i have given her spyhilis based on that criteria? I have no symtoms and have never had a chancre or sore.  Thanks for the help.

It's possible. A sore can be caused by a lot of different things - syphilis, herpes, friction, infected hair follicles, clogged oil glands, etc. Does her sore hurt? A syphilis sore is painless.

If you haven't had a sore, it makes it less likely that you've infected your partner with syphilis, . A syphilis chancre can appear as early as 10 days, but the average is 3 weeks.

Is your partner going to the doctor? She should - it could be anything, including something not an STD that still may need treatment.

It's worth a test for you, but it's still pretty early for you to test positive if you have it.  That can take up to 6 weeks. It wouldn't hurt to test now, though. Let us know what happens.

Thank you. So you can spread syphilis less than 10 days after a possible exposure even if you have had no symptoms or chancre (sore)?

And she could develop a (sore) less than ten days after possible exposure?

Her sore is painless. You can just see it.

I took a blood test today.
No, you need direct contact with a sore to transmit it. Some people miss the sore because it's painless, but prior to 10 days, you wouldn't have the sore. Looking at the timeline, it doesn't seem possible for you to have given her syphilis if this is your only outside contact.

You wouldn't have gotten a sore until the 13th, and then your partner wouldn't have gotten a sore until the 23rd, and that's assuming everyone got it at the earliest possible times. It can take up to 90 days to see the sore.

Syphilis is also pretty uncommon. I think it's a good idea that you got the blood test, just to rule it out on the really off chance you got it if you had other outside encounters, but if you haven't, I don't see how it's possible from this.
