What is going on???
Okay, here is my situation. I recently started dating a girl a month ago. Things have been going really well and yes we have been having sex. Well, I recently started getting a burning sensation when I pee. Then it turned into a really bad pain, and so I went to the doc. He said I had Urethritus but couldn't take any urine tests because of the AZO I was taking. So he prescibed me Doxycycline Hyclate and I've been taking that, along with AZO, cranberry pills, and A LOT of water and cranberry juice. Well, about 2 day later I noticed some yellow discharge coming out of my penis. I freaked out, told my GF to get an STD test and everything. Well she did and everything came out negative. I was thinking to myself, well maybe I got something from my last partner.....but I thought back to the last time we had sex. 3 months ago! I used a condom and everything was okay UNTIL I had unprotected sex with my most recent partner. Also, before the girl 3 months ago I didn't have sex for 6 months. This is really confusing me because I have the symptoms of urethritus....but I have the discharge which is yellow. I looked at my recent GF's negative test results as well....they are legit and from the university doctor. I have made an appointment that's in 4 days, but I just need some information. HELP!!!!

Oh and stop taking the azo. I also don't know if you'll be able to test because of the doxy either. Usually they recommend waiting 2 weeks from taking antibiotics to test, but if you have a discharge, they might be able to test that.

Will azo pills alter an std NAAT test?

I decided to try something. my infection has been getting better, but I noticed the yellow discharge smelled similar to semen. I decided to try masturbating. ALL OF MY SEMEN WAS YELLOW. Can Azo make your semen yellow as well. All of that build up staying in your urethra?

It sounds bacterial, and if your gf is negative, then it might be something in your prostate that is causing this.
Try not to freak, avoid sex until you see your doctor, and go from there.
