Syphilis Test Results confusion

I am Tested for Syphilis RRP and Treponema Pallidum IgG. I got RRP non reactive and TP igg reactive as 2.8 (Elisa). 4 months back i was under gone an therapy for H. Pylori infection as i remember and i didn't had any sexual encounter.
I was in an confusion one test came neg and other positive. I didn't go for Syphilis treatment before.

I am still positive for Syphilis?

It's possible that the TP is a false positive. You should ask for a FTA-ABS or EIA test to confirm either the positive or the negative.

If you've ever had syphilis before, the TP will likely always be reactive.
