Syphilis sore after the skin rash has disappeared?

Hi there, please if you can, help me.

Basically I had a chancre on my penis, then the rash, and was then diagnosed with syphilis. Was put on 2 pills of doxycylcine a day as where I am they weren't able to get penicillin. The rash went away, and after completing 4 weeks of the pills I had another blood test where it said my titer has improved from 1:64 to 1:16. It's 3 weeks later, and it seems like I've developed a sore on my mouth, with a white coating. Could this have happened in this order? I'm freaking out that the disease has gotten worse again. Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes, unless you gave someone oral sex recently then it would not be syphilis.

Okay, awesome, thanks very much for your help. I should have said though the sore is on my tongue, with my tongue being coated white. The same thing still applies right?

Thanks again!

1:64 to 1:16 means treatment worked. Syphilis sore happens when you got infected, so unless you required syphilis it has nothing to do with it.
