Hello, at the beginning of January I received unprotected oral sex. Approximately 9 weeks later, I was beginning to show symptoms of chlamydia/gonorrhea: constant urge to urinate, urinating multiple times throughout the day, and having an odd feeling "down there." I went to my schools medical center to figure out what was wrong. The doctor said my urethra contained moisture/liquid more than usual. He had me feel two cups for samples; the first cup was for the STI test and the second for any UTI/other bacteria. When I filled cups, I noticed the first cup (where I first started to urinate in) looked different from the second: it looked "cloudy" in comparison to the other. A day later I got my results: negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea (the PCR test was performed). However, a week later, I'm noticing a kinda white discharge and I'm now worried..
Given the PCR test at 9 weeks, how accurate can I trust my results? Do I have an STD that needs treatment? What is the probability it was a false negative or the lab misread the test?
Thank you
