Trichomoniasis Testing

If Trich has reached my prostate would a urine test still detect the parasite?  Also thinking about testing for MG.  Still have symptoms such as lower back and testicle pain. Never had discharge or urethra pain.

It couldn't hurt, if you can afford it, but it really doesn't seem like that's what you have going on. Continue to work with your doctor about treatment.

Here's some decent info on CPPS - https://www.verywellhealth.com/prostate-pain-treatment-2564490

It's tricky, unfortunately.

Yes, it would, though trich is harder to find in men than women in testing.

Have you seen a doctor about this? Followed up with your urologist? It's been going on a long time.

Google CPPS in men and see if that fits.

Yes I was tested again and it came back negative.  The only thing I haven't tested for yet is MG.  I haven't had any issues with discharge or pain with urination.  Do you think it's worth my while to test for MG?  It is very possible that my problem is CPPS.
