Trichomoniasis diagnosis and extremely confused

I was just diagnosed with trichomoniasis yesterday, as well as UTI, bacterial vaginitis, and yeast infection. I had a hysterectomy back in January and since we don't have sex as often. Maybe 1 time every other week right now honestly. I'm so shocked right now trying to take it in. Is it possible that it was a false positive? About 6 yrs ago shortly after we moved in together I had reoccurring bacterial vaginitis for about a month and it went away but was never tested for any STD. Should I make him get tested? Our marriage has been strained lately and I don't want to cause any further uproar right now but I know I've only been with him for close to 7 yrs now

Hi, firstly when we talk about std,s we must mention symptoms as with out symptoms there is a probability of a false postive esp if you were tested with a pap smear. When a female has trich the  vaginal discharge will be green. Also men very rarely get trich due to the nature of their genital structure and diagnosing trich in men is extremely difficult. The one option is to have your discharge swab and perform the NAAT test to confirm you have trich. How were you tested for trich?

The Dr. performed a swab same way as a pap smear is done.  I have discharge but it's white like yeast infection which I'm also being treated for
With trich it should be green as thats the most predominent symptom. Maybe have a talk with your doctor about the chances of a false positive and have the NAAT test performed to be certain.
I just received a message from the doctor (it's Kaiser) that my urine tested positive for it.  I'm really frustrated and confused right now.  She has ordered full STD testing at the lab this afternoon.... I can't even function right now.  This makes no sense
