Unknown bumb

So in the past few months, my boyfriend and I have gotten a bit more sexually active, both with me giving him handjobs and him fingering me, but we have never had sex, neither with each other nor anyone else.  Today, we noticed a strange bumb on the side of his penis that really alarmed the both of us.  It doesn't really look like a pimple, but is it possible that one of us could have the herpes or genital warts virus that could have caused it, if neither of us have had sex?  I'm just really worried that one of us could somehow have an STD that we have no idea about, even if neither of us have been intimate with anyone else (and not just sex, we have only done this sort of thing with each other).  Is there something else that it could be, or is it an STD?

Thank you, we are both just really worried for obvious reasons, but thank you for that little peace of mind

If neither has ever had sex then it can't be a STD. Not sure what it is, he would have to see a Dr.
