Urethral infection

First please excuse my English as its not my native tongue.

Ive been having this "peeing feeling" for about 2 weeks, I just feel like "i got to go" even when there's nothing much to "go", you know. About 2-3 months ago, I was diagnosed that Im having some sort of kidney stone, but they are very small that doctor didnt suggest any surgery, just told me to drink lots of water. And I dont usually drink lots of water, my fault. One time I got real pain at the left side of my lower back, I went to a clinic, doctor gave me some medicine, I did drink those medicines till the pain gone but actually I didnt finish them all, you know what i mean (my fault again). Then later on as recently, I have that "got to go"  feeling and together with the pain on my left side lower back. I wnet to doctor again (not the same doctor), he said i had urethral infection. I asked him why, he just saig "its just happen". Then he gave me medicines which made my urine turns to dark orange color and my head dizzy, I finished them all but he situation just got a bit better, not actually gone. As now when I "go", I feel "burn" inside my urethral. I still dont know why I have this infection, does it have anything to do with my kidney or i was infected by any virus outside? (I dont pratice unsafe sex, my girl friend is the only and she has no problem). FIY,  live and share toilte with many others without knowing their health condition, some of them I beleive r prostitutes (Im a student renting a room in a very complicated house). Please help me to know why I have this infection, does it has any relation with STDs? Physicly and mentally I dont feel good about this. Thank you very much in advance.

Oh sorry - no, I don't think it is an std.

Sorry Aj, I dont quite understand when u said "I'd doubt its an STD". Does it mean u think I have one or you dont think I have one. Anyway, i'm going to hospital next Monday.

I'd doubt its an std, but you need to find out more from your doctors.  Telling you that something is just happening, and not giving you a real diagnosis is not helping you.

Have you had any actual testing done?  You need to, for stds and a urine test to look for things like bladder infections, kidney infections, etc.

Its ok to make a doctor answer your questions.  You shouldn't walk out of a doctor's office confused.
