Vague illnesses from sex workers infecting others?

Hi, I went through a period of a few years where I saw a lot of sex workers, massage parlors and escorts mostly.  Most of the sex was protected, but did have some unprotected encounters, oral mostly.  During that time I also developed some chronic conditions, acid reflux, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, depression.  At the time I believed I had contracted some STDs and/or a Candida infection.  Shortly after that I noticed my girlfriend of the time developing similar symptoms. She started getting bloated and having some acid reflux issues.  Fast forward a few years later and I still struggle with some of these issues, GERD mostly, and have noticed a new girlfriend start to develop some of these symptoms after dating me for a year and a half.  I'm wondering if it's possible that I could be passing some condition like Candida, or if it's just guilt and coincidence and normal consequence of getting older.  I've had STD tests and never had anything, same with my girlfriend.  I've been down the Candida rabbit hole before and kind of believe it's a hoax, but can't help wondering if I could be passing something along.  Just wondering if anyone has had similar experiences or know of anything that I could possibly be passing like a fungus of some kind?  How would I know?  Thanks.
