Venereal Arthritis / sexually acquired arthritis question

After an encounter a little over a year ago I started to develop these strange muscle and joint paint that seemed to be random and presented no swelling. The pain is often short lived and would go away within 5 or 10 mins.

I have seen my GP who has done some blood work to which all my levels come back normal. Was refrerred to a Rhuematologist who also ordered all kinds of blood work and came back as all normal. I even asked him if he thought that maybe this was soemthing STD or STI related. He said that none of my bloodwork shows any type of bacterial or viral markers.

I have also used a discreet testing site online to get a full STD panel to include Mono, Trich and Mycoplasma and  HIV testing done. All negative. In fact did my HIV test again after a year and its thankfully negative. I never presented any of the classic symptoms of an STD but still to this day have the random and roving muscle and joint pain.

I was reading recently that if you have a case of Reactive Arthritis or Venereal Arthritis a culture test wouldnt be sufficient to find Chalmydia or Gonorreah. Just worried about that a bit. Is this all in my mind and the stress is freaking me out? I am married and my wife has no symptoms either.
