What Is the Safest Way to See Prostitutes?

Hi Everyone,

1.  Of course, I love traditional dating and sex.

a.  Meet the woman naturally, ask her out
b.  Spend some time at dinner or a movie
c.  If there is attraction, we kiss, maybe turn into something more.
d.  Then, we go to a bedroom.  Lots of kissing, oral sex on both partners (without condoms), then protected sex with condoms.
e.  Hopefully, even if the romance does not lead into something serious, we can still be friends.

2.  Any way to stimulate this with prostitutes, without getting sick?

Is it true I cannot kiss them, give oral sex (cunnilingus) or have protected sex with a condom without a chance of HPV?

Will nothing help, such as Gardasil for both partners, in the future?

Many prostitutes are beautiful.  But, I agree there are physical risks and there is no real emotion put in on both sides.

I totally agree with mastersmithson. A lot of commercial sex workers, or CSWs, won't perform or receive oral without a barrier, like a condom or dental dam, as their livelihoods depend on being safe.

It sounds as if you are worried most about HPV, but there are other infections you need to concern yourself with.

Kissing isn't a huge risk for HPV. It's possible, but oral sex is a bigger risk for oral HPV.

Kissing could transmit hsv1, but about half the adult population has that. You might already have that and not know it - 90% never get any symptoms.

From receiving oral sex without a condom, you could get gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU/NSU (same thing, called different things depending on where you are - it's an infection in your urethra), syphilis, and genital herpes type 1.

If you give oral sex, it's possible to get gonorrhea and chlamydia orally, though if your partners are women and have vaginas, it's far less likely for this to happen. (Giving oral sex to a penis puts the penis in the throat, making it easier for any infection to transmit.)

Using a condom for oral sex prevents gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU/NSU, and offers significant protection against syphilis, HPV and ghsv1.

A note about oral HPV - obviously no one wants it, and I don't want to make it sound like it's not a big deal, but millions and millions give oral sex, but there are only about 30,000 cases of oral cancers in the US each year. Most oral HPV infections will be without symptoms and won't cause any problems.

Another note about HPV - like 90% of the population will have it at some point in their lives, at least once. Most won't know it, especially men, since there is no test for men. Most experts consider this an inevitability of sexual activity now. I'm not saying give up on preventing it, but also don't freak about it.

Definitely get the HPV vaccine, though. That prevents the most high risk strains that lead to cancer.

There is no sex that is without risk, unless you are in a purely monogamous relationship and both partners are negative for all infections.

Thanks.

1.  I definitely will get Gardasil-9.  As someone who studied science, I love the idea of vaccines.  I am all for universal vaccines.  Maybe we can eradicate all vaccinable viruses, the way rinderpest once plagued how farmers, but is now completely eradicated.

2.  This topic is so hard to find an answer.

We see so much casual sex on movies, TV shows, etc.  However, many people do not realize how much disease there is.

I wonder how people can take someone home from a bar, ghost them the next day, and not worry about things like disease.  I never could understand how someone can do that, psychologically.

3.   As for seeing commercial sex workers, that is such a hard decision.

On one hand, it seems so tempting.  With as little as 50 or 100 USD, a beautiful woman will allow you to do anything to her.  No poaching women who demand 200+ USD dinners, no emotional games to see how much you love them, etc.

On the other hand, it sounds like there is no way to not get sick.  Yes, the chances of something dreaded like HIV infection are small, especially if you use condoms in penile-vaginal sex.

But, no way to do kissing, 69 (without annoying condoms or dental dams to not taste each other), etc.

4.  Any other insight?

I know Medhelp has a lot of forum posts of those who feel anxious or guilty about anonymous sex with prostitutes, etc. then think they are sick.

Any way to enjoy women, without problems?

5.  Either way, I am definitely getting Gardasil-9.  For marriage, I always like women who did not sleep around.  I would not want them to get sick, because I spent a few nights with different women I had loose sex with.

Relax!

Depending what country you are from has some weight to this but generally sex workers use protection and keep testing regularly as it's their source of income.

Kissing is negligible without an active sore. Oral and insertive with protection is Risker but more than half of people who are sexually active will have some experience with it.
