What to do for this situation

I want to ask this question for one of my close friend´s situation. He had unprotected vaginal sex with his girlfriend and also with another girl.
He got tested with VDRL and the result came back minimally reactive. So he did RPR test again and the result was negative at that time.

About one month later, he tested again with VDRL and the result was moderately reactive.

What did he need to do to confirm diagnosis?

He has no significant signs and symptoms suggestive of syphillis.

Is he essential to perform another test with TPHA?

Kindly please answer me this question.

Saying moderately reactive is like saying "im a little bit pregnant". Kinda need more info! Like AJ said, he needs to be tested for chlamydia, gono and HIV as well (should be common practice during a routine test).

They should have confirmed his VDRL with a TPHA or FTA-ABS test. Where is he getting these tests? What does "moderately reactive" mean? It should have some kind of numeric value to it.

If he had unprotected sex, is he also testing for things like gonorrhea and chlamydia?
