Why my boyfriend negative for gonorrhea and I'm positive for gonorrhea?

My boyfriend and I are together for 2 years now and he's the only person I've had since with in my entire life. Every time we have sex we have.. "Complications". The first time we had sex I got what I thought was a yeast infection. The second time I got another one. Then later on I started showing symptoms for gonorrhea. He got tested but the doctors kep saying he doesn't have gonorrhea. At this point I don't know what to do because he's the only person I've ever had sex with. Note: he got gonorrhea some years back from one of his previous partners but was treated.
